Manufacturing Process
Graphite electrodes are manufactured from high-quality, low-ash raw materials: petroleum coke, needle coke, and coal tar pitch. The production cycle includes calcination, crushing, screening, batching, mixing, forming, roasting, impregnation, graphitization, and final CNC machining. Thanks to low resistivity, high electrical conductivity, minimal ash content, dense structure, oxidation resistance, and mechanical strength, these electrodes are the optimal current-conducting material for arc and melting furnaces.
Applications
- Ladle Furnaces
- Electric Arc Steelmaking Furnaces
- Yellow Phosphorus Production Furnaces
- Silicon Metal or Copper Smelting Units
- Ladle-Furnaces & Steel Refining Processes

Transportation & Installation Guide
-
1Store and transport electrodes in dry conditions, free from vibration and impact. Drying is mandatory before use.
-
2Before installing the nipple, clean the threaded hole with compressed air. Tighten carefully to avoid damaging the thread.
-
3When joining electrodes, clean the end faces with compressed air, maintaining a gap of 20–30 mm.
-
4Tighten the connection with a torque wrench to the specified torque, ensuring a minimum gap of 0.05 mm.
-
5To avoid breakage, do not allow the electrodes to jam.
-
6Load large charge materials into the upper part of the furnace.
